Dolphin Camp, 1-Day Program

In the summer months, Island Dolphin Care provides one day camps for small groups of 12 from Hospitals and Rehabilitation/Therapy Centers in South Florida. These programs are typically scheduled on Fridays but exceptions do occur based on availability. The cost of each Dolphin Camp is $2,005.

** This program is for children with critical/terminal illness, emotional, and/or physical challenges. Participants spend an exciting day with our staff, learning about and swimming with dolphins! Participants also visit the marine science education program, Fonzie’s Backyard. At Fonzie’s Backyard, individuals are provided a hands-on experience with some of the interesting, smaller creatures that inhabit the beautiful waters of South Florida. Campers enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking our dolphin lagoons and have fun creating an art project to take home.
